Foundation Illustrator 10 released

Press Release
February 27, 2002

Foundation Illustrator 10 has been officially released with Scott Manning as one of the technical editors.

foundationillustrator10 (6k image)Foundation Illustrator 10 is an in-depth look at the basics of Adobe's latest version of their vector-drawing program. It covers everything from getting started and created shapes, to working with colors and transforming objects. Although the book is geared towards beginners, it does move into more advanced topics like preparing for print, working with filters, and preparing for web delivery. Newbies and Illustrator pros alike will find this book useful as it strives to cover all new features found in the program.

This is Scott's second editing project for friends of Ed. On working with the company, he had this to say, "The guys at friends of Ed are really great to work with. Simon Brand, the project manager for this book, was very organized and made sure that I was aware of all schedules, deadlines, and changes. There was never a point in the project when I was left wondering what was going to happen. I would definitely work with these guys again."

And working for friends of Ed again is a possibility. As soon as there are any developments we will post them here.
