Scott, I was just wondering if you could explain something to me. I don't get the ending, I thought this movie was the last installment of the Freddy and Jason movies. I figured that both of them would die, but Jason walking out of the lake with Freddy's winking head just left the ending open for yet another movie. Clint said that y'all had a conversation about the catterpiller and hooka scene and that you didn't understand how Freddy was able to kill the stoner. Well right before Freddy enters his body the movie shows the "stoner" smoking a joint, which lead me to believe that he got really stoned and passed out causing him to dream and eventually be possessed by Freddy. I didn't understand how Freddy was able to possess the "stoner" but then again it's only a movie.

ok, not only did freddy beat the living shit out of him through most of the movie but he also broke him down mentaly by making him curl up and cry like a little bitch. maybe jason did come up out of the water in the end with freddy's head but come on he blinked his eye like "yeah jason's my little bitch". so if anyone was paying any attention you will clearly see that freddy just pimped jason out like a filthy prostitute. so in closing hail freddy!

I Enjoyed the movie because ive been watchin jason and freedy since i was a kid, and cudnt wait 2c this movie. ive always been a fan of Jason and betted on him. wen i watched the movie i had a feeling dat freddy wud win but man FREDDY got his head kicked in, though jason got beaten up quite alot thoroughout the film. but it was utter nonesense dat they go bak in the past and bak in the future, but the main thing was who will win i was happy to walk out of the cinema seeing Jason grabbing freddies head, the reason freddy was winking cos he was ashammed, no worries mate we c wat u do in round 2.

i aint seen this film yet but
1. the finale was on JASON's home turf. he knows crystal lake like the back of his hand. he died there more than once. hes lives there all his life(then again misshapen reject to society and seriel killer presumed dead later to be brought back to life by that jarvis kid then later go missing and being frozen then thawed out on a space ship after some dumb girl cut off his mask(big nono)then remove his brain(thats really gonna piss a man off) then allow him to thaw out completely after completely ignoring the amazing luck and superhuman tissue regeneration(worst mistake that wont happen again), is bound to be a outcast and forced to live in a abandoned camp and slaughter those doped horny twats havin a shag in the woods for his only form of fun and probably his strange diluded made up religion.
2.Jason voorhees kicks ass and he has to win as freddy vs jason is set before jason x and after part 9
3.if they took there fight into the real world, jason would kick ass
4 jason could slaugter freddy, micheal and billy loomis(not much needed there)and 100 horny teenagers all at once( after all, 7 armed army men in 10 seconds(record)) but not chucky cos chucky rules.
5.1 way to kill a seriel killer is to threaten them with a furby(garenteed suicide)

Here is my problems in the movie(they do contain spoilers)
#1 I know that Jason has always been realy strong but in this movie it was greatly exagerated,I mean I have never seen him do something like that in a jason movie, I know speacile effects have improved over the years but they don't have to go that far to make people go oooh ahhhh,it wasn't necercary.
#2Outside a certain distance of Elm street is Freddy's max distance,you leave the proxsimity he can't be in your dream,but yet he was in jasons dream all the way to camp lake crystal.
#3 not so much a problem,the symbiot freddy worms,I don't realy ever remember seeing them in previos films,( they arent realy anything that he couldnt do being the worms are broughten from dream world and back,) exept jason goes to hell,at the end with the worms going in and out the hockey mask.

#4 One realy big one, when freddy is forced into the real world,he is soposed to be mortal,not the way he was in the movie,In other movies they didnt have to wip the shit out of him like if he was superman like they portray jason in this movie,all need do is kill him like any other human,and the fact he got his head choped off and was all winking at the end realy doesn't make sense,sure its just a movie,but if thats so who cares about the most important rules of the movies,hay lets put freddy and jason in tootoos,they can do a little musical beeing a movie and all.

#5 This one Iam not so sure about,in a freddy movie he is destroyed by looking at his reflection,well in the movie you see him looking at his reflection in the water scenes,yet no instatanias combustion.....

#6 Although freddy was mortal in the real world if his hand is dismembered he is soposed to be able to controle his glove still,but it was cool in the end where they used each others trade mark wepons.

#7 this movie did realy fit jason into this movie but no wonder it's called freddy vs. jason and not jason vs freddy,I do like how they got into greater explaination of what happened in jason orgins,No wonder he targets teenagers at camp crystal!!!
Everything that happend there explains why he does what he does,Wich makes him the partial good guy the lesser evil of the 2 in a way,also I don't only think that jason shoved freddys claw through him to finish the battle,but to protect the one chick for trying to help him from drowning in dreamworld,also jason has never killed a virgin,freddy has,I guessJason will kill anyone that gets in his path but only targets the unpure,pretty much anything you saw in his dreamscape,and freddy targets inocent adolecent souls (well prefers)but will take anything that comes his way.

Thats pretty much it,I think this movie could have been a much more epic event but it kinda spoofed at the end,exspeacily the very end.

Okay...Jason didn't 'get the shit whipped out of him' as alot of people have been saying. For the most part, in the real world when Lori pulled Freddy out and they started fighting, Freddy's attacks weren't having alot of effect on Jason. Remember at the beginning of the movie, Jason's mother states that 'no matter what they do to you, you cannot die...you can never die'. Getting punched and kicked and stabbed a bunch of times is like being slapped with a feather to Jason Voorhees. Freddy was desperate in the real world, it was literally all or nothing for him, because he knew all too well how dangerous Jason is in reality.

Now, I'm not saying Freddy didn't put up one heck of a fight. Freddy Krueger kicked total ass in that movie, and so did Jason. It was pretty much an even fight, because even in the real world, Freddy still had his tricks and ways of fighting depite the strength difference between them.

If you want to get technical, Freddy would have won the fight and against the kids if Jason hadn't run him through with his own clawed arm. So technically, Jason had a hand in Freddy's defeat, just like Freddy had a hand in Jason's. The very end of the movie was a tribute to all the fans; Jason emerging from the lake and Freddy's head winking. It wasn't part of the official "ending of the fight", it was a fan service. Another thing that I thought was kinda cool was the way Lori 'killed' Freddy: the exact same way that Jason's mother, Pamela Voorhees, was killed in the original Friday the 13th. If you watch, it's almost an exact match for the filming they did when Jason's mom died, right down to the expression on Freddy's face right before it happened. Good stuff!! Ronny Yu definitely knows his stuff here!!

Anyway, I hope that I don't get a bunch of Freddy fans jumping down my throat for saying Freddy had to get desperate in the real world, but it's the truth. Even Ronny Yu, the director of the film, said as much, that Jason has the upper hand in the real world. And yes, I am a huge Friday the 13th fan, but I also LOVE the Nightmare on Elm St. series. If I absolutely had to pick a favorite, it would be Jason, but that's besides the point.

Im not exactly sure who wins or what happens but one of my views is that when jason falls in the water after stabbing freddy with freddy's clawed hand, jason falls in the water and closes his eyes. I think that maybe he could've fallen asleep and allowed freddy to invade and make the ending.

I say Freddy won. I have seen the movie and absolutely LOVED it!! I have been a Jason fan for years after seeing a few when I was six. Then I saw Wes Craven's New nightmare and fell in love(Sorry Jason, it's not you... it's Freddy). Now, I'm only 14 and I have been a Freddy fan for little over a month after seeing Jason movies since I was six. Freddy winked!!!!!! Yeah, he lost.... but the wink signifies that there is most likey a sequal in which Freddy gets revenge. Personally, I say that they should make a few series about this match, having the winner fight a new horror movie every time. Right now, it should be Freddy Vs. Jason Vs. Michael Myers(Halloween). How can it get any better than that?! The only thing worse then a Nightmare on Friday the 13 is a Nightmare on Halloween on Friday the 13. Hell yeah! Freddy beat the crap out of Michael after Jason is finished off. Either that or have all three of em Vs. the thirteen ghosts. I mean, what could be better than Jason Vs. an invisible Jagernaut? Or how's about Freddy goin at it with the Hammer(The Jackel sucks, besides, who the hell wants to see claw in claw matches?)? Deny it if you want, but this would not only attract Freddy and Jason fans, fans of Michael Myers and/or the thirteen ghosts would be equally pleased. I knew that there would be a Freddy Vs. Jason. In part nine(Friday the 13), Freddy's claw grabs the mask. Say what you want, Freddy won. And if not, he'll win next time. Freddy will come back... he always comes back.

One more thing... You guys all put up good points. Like the fact that Freddy was just killed normally in the real world... but even in reality Freddy beat the crap out of jason, with the needles through the torso and nailing him to the ground. BUT, In Freddy Vs. Jason how the heck could he have lasted that long with Jason? Freddy and Jason both have regeneration powers, but in this movie it was only Freddy while he is in the real world. Jason wasn't regenerating, and Freddy was!!! What is up with that? Noone, even Freddy, could last that long in the ring with Jason. And the kids were helping Jason, weren't you paying attention to the movie?! When Jason was drowning, a kid asked what they were doing with Jason. They answered, 'We're taking him to Crystal Lake. We're going to send Lora in to bring Freddy back into reality, where hopefully Jason will win.' 'But what about Jason?' 'Once there, he has no need to come back for us.' They said as plain as you can get that they were on JASON's side. And Jason didn't give a crap for saving the girl. He stalled Freddy so that she could finish the job. Figuring that he would lose anyway, he thought that maybe if he goes down, Freddy's comin with him. Freddy just went back to hell, in which case he'll come back in the sequal.

I hear ya. Everyone asks me who won and I always tell 'em it was Jason. Then someone else who saw the movie says it was a tie or whatever cuz Freddy Winked. WHO CARES?! Everybody is entitled to their own opion, but come on. Jason would have been dead if it wasnt for the band of teenagers plotting against Freddy(in reference to when Freddy was drowning Jason in his dream). Also, at the end of the movie when Jason was carrying Freddy's head out of Crystal Lake, look at the sky in the background. Jason was obviously in the dream world and when Freddy winked, well that was the icing on the cake.

Freddy put up a good fight, so did Jason. I think they made it out that Jason won the fight but Freddy will be back for some more sequals to nightmare on elm street. They ended the book with a different ending only cause that way it could be fair. All in all they let Freddy have some good knocks at Jason during the movie to put everyone on track that freddy was the better and the one with the better advantage at winning. Then we see Jason at the end walking out of Crystal Lake walking full in control of freddy. They just lead us to believe that freddy would win to give us a surprise. And it worked.

All in all it was only a movie, i'm a Jason Fan but i think freddy put up a good fight and that was what the wink was for. To show that Freddy is strong and he did his best. It's just to say he'll be back and it is to keep the Nightmare on Elm Street fans happy in knowing that. My final opinion. There was a clear winner: Jason

I disagree. The movie made it obvious that Freddy is stronger.... and you may be right that it was just to trick us. But Freddy is not dead. This was a oneman in one man out fight. The winner was whoever was left standing. If Freddy were to have, indeed, lost, then he would have been dead. And if he were dead then he could not wink. I think perhaps the fact that Jason came out of the water with Freddy's head was just another trick. Perhaps this was just round 1 of the fight and Freddy was just fooling around. I think that in the sequal(If there is one), It will end up that Freddy had tricked Jason yet again. Freddy (supposedly) lost because of a bunch of kids helping Jason. If Freddy faked out his own death, then the kids would leave. No interference. Then he could take Jason by surprise and kick some butt. After that he goes down to elm street and gets rid of the kids. Maybe in the sequal Freddy will be fighting a new opponent(Not Jason). The kids have no hope without Jason, whom Freddy has either killed or left to be done with(fooling him, Jason won't go after someone he thinks is dead.). Besides, Jason X must be brought up into this subject. In Jason X he gets caught and sent to the future. What if... just what if.... Freddy Vs. Jason takes place just before Jason X? It has to!!! Because at the end of JKason X it is still in the future. Perhaps Freddy takes control of Jason? Why bother tricking him? If Freddy truly lost, and is snet to hell. Why can't he possess Jason and kill whoever the helll he wants? He possessed the stoner. And another thing. When did the stoner fall asleep? The only way that he could have done that is if when they entered the mental institute they were all in dream world. In which case the fight was in dream world. Which means Freddy FAKED HIS OWN DEATH!!!!! Get the brats out of the way. They think he's dead, right? Now, when they found he was alive before, they got Jason to go after him. So if they find out that Jason can't handle him, then what's to stop them from getting something else after Freddy? So... here's my idea of Freddy Vs. Jason 2. Freddy did indeed fake his own death, and he then possesses Jason.OR he could have really been killed and possess Jason anyway. But, the kids find out after a few of them arew found dead. So they go and get something else after Freddy/Jason. Somehow or another, they drag Freddy out of Jason, and it's a two on one fight. Any questions?

Only a Voortees can kill him and last time I looked Freddy didn't belong to the Voortees Family. Freddy has a weakness unlike Jason. In the real world he is a mortal. Jason is immortal where ever he may be. It would of kept going but Freddy would either get tired or end up in the real world. Either way Freddy would lose. You gotta admit it mate. But in Part Nine(Jason Goes to Hell) Jason was killed using a Voorhees weapon. Now lets suppose that Freddy got a Voorhees weapon.... say.... the knife the kids used in Part Nine. Now. imagine Freddy manipulating the knife(possessing it like he does his glove). Stab. Stab, dead. Now, I'm going to argue both sides here. Jason would be pulled into the ground like in part nine. No... I forgot.... Only a Voorhees can use the weapon.. Good show, mate. LADIES AND GENTLEMAN!!!!! DESPITE YOUR BEST ARGUEMENTS JASON WOULD HAVE WON AND DID WIN!!!!!!! I take it back! I was talking to my good friend, Boo(Jason fan), and we came up to the discussion of Freddy Vs. Jason. We got to talking why Freddy never possessed Jason. Which brings me to say Freddy could have won had he POSSESSED a Voorhees. Okay? Now, how do we know there are no Voorhees on Elm Street? Besides, Freddy was posing as Jason's mom. If Freddy killed him in that form then technically Jason was killed by a Voorhees. Freddy manipulated a dead guy in the dream world, why not Jason's mother?

Freddy took the "form" of Pamala Voorhees. Doesn't make him a Voorhees. No Excaues. How lame is "We don't know if there is any Voorhees living in Elm Street". Well only a Voorhees which was close to Jason like his Mother can kill him or Reborn him and the only left alive after everything was his Cousin. And she don't live near Elm street cause Elm streets near Camp Crystal Lake! She sent Jason To Hell but he returned of course. Agreed. I kinda feel like it's just me and you having our own conversation here. There is going to be a sequal if the movie gets enough fans, I read somewhere... So I think there will be. At my theator, they actually brought in an usher to find seats!!!! My theator has never needed an usher for any reason. Also, if they do make a sequal, perhaps it will be like the winner Vs. someone else or the two go at it again. I think that we cannot truly say who won until a sequal. They screwed up in the movie though. Take the pipe incident for instance. When the hell is Jason afraid of water?! And besides, if he were truly afraid of water, how could he have walked out holding Freddy's head? If he is afraid of water is highly unlikely that he's going to stay in long enough to find Freddy's head. Michael Myers? that would ruin the Halloween movies! Michael only goes after relatives. And besides, who the hell wants to see two silent, invincible, and masked men go at it? However, I was surprised to find that Freddy gets an ALLIE. I figured he would have possessed Jason and the kids would have gotten someone after him. Freddy would then bring them into the dream world and finish one of them off, only to be dragged to the real world and defeated by Jason's tag team partner. And FREDDY having an Allie wouldn't be very fair at all. We both saw that Jason could barely handle Freddy on his own, so what chance does he stand if Freddy AND Michael go after him? Freddy vs Jason I think could go horribily wrong if the director and producers don't make a good story line. But I said that b4 freddy vs Jason 1 came out. Oh well. They should have gone with the original script. Everything takes place in dream world and Jason STILL wins. Something like Freddy drowning Jason for real and Jason squashes Freddy's head. Freddy gets through a sattelite system and tries to go world wide except he misfires and burns up in the sun. Somewhere along those lines. It's just that in the origianl script Freddy needed a virgin bride(Where did that come from?!) and Jason had to help the kids. I can probably email you the script or give you the address it was on. And then they have to get rid of Jason by getting a Voorhees? Or perhaps Freddy can possess his daughter and Jason possesses his cousin(Part Nine: Jason goes to hell). Then the two duke it out themselves? Think about it. Classic match of the Kruegars vs. the Voorhees. Probably something wrong with this idea somewhere, so go ahead and point them out.

Well There ain't alot of big problems I can see with the idea (4 once!). It's just that it would kinda ruin the legends if they brought all the familys into it. Look, nobody won. The book has an alternate ending than the movie. The movie was meant to get people to go and see the movie, therefore it was meant to get money. Later.

Anyway, I like Giorgio's theory. It brings up new levels of what Freddy can and cannot do. Let's go with his theory for a moment, let's say that they WERE in the real world during the fight, and let's say that Freddy DID get a new power. It kinda leaves us to believe this because in all Nightmare on Elm Street movies Freddy was killed like a normal human being in the real world. BUT, in Freddy Vs. Jason, Jason had to throw him around like he was superman. I think that possibly Freddy did get a new power, in which case he has MOST of his Dream powers except for immortality. But, there is still the idea of them being in dream world, because I do not recall a scene of Jason ever waking up, do you?? Everyone might think it was in the burning cabin, but if Jason was asleep, how did he get in there? We have to wait for the sequal or DVD.

Also, DVD comes out in just 3 more days. Can't wait. I'm getting it first day out and I'll tell everyone what they say about the plot.

I think that Freddy is playing it very smart at the end of the movie...True that in the real world he couldn't be a match for Jason even though he still put up one hell of a fight...

But Jason was just some kid who drown during summer camp at Crystal Lake then somehow comes back to life and kills anyone who enters the camp....That is after Mrs.Vorhees "looses her head"

There is no creativity to the Jason movies what so ever....The dumbest thing about any of the those movies is that some of Jason's victims get a running start to try and get away...So they run there ass off while Jason just walks after them but somehow he is always one step behind them waiting for them to trip over a twig on the ground then get hacked up....

Freddy has charecter and personality....Freddy was possesed by dream demons which gave him the power to cross over and murder people in there dreams...Freddy was burned alive causing his face

Anyway I thought F vs J kicked ass....One thing I think would have pleased fans more is if they threw in a few cameos like having Heather Langenkamp (Nacy from the 1st Nightmare) make a little apperence somewhere in there....I don't know if anyone else noticed but Bob Shay who has produced all the nightmare films made a short guest apperence as a teacher
during the hall way scene at the high school...

ok with all of you peepz out there talking all this smack about the being killed by a voorhees shit. just understand one thing. that movie jgth was one of the worst in the series. which breaks all of the story that was built up in the other 8 movies. jason's purpose was to dispose people who came back to the camp. he did this to avenge his mothers death. he was never demon seed like it was said in jason goes to hell. also if you want to wax intellectual on the ending to F vs J then look at it like this. if freddy dies in the real worl dhe goes back to hell. jason was dead he was destroyed. and when he walked out of the water in the end with freddys head they were already back in the dream world. since camp crystal lake blown up in the end of F vs J, and the water and everything was so peaceful you could only assume they went back to the dream world. and that is why freddy winked. thank you

Okay, I wasn't too thrilled about Adam's message, however, I must agree with Landon. Too true every Freddy fan has had the thought at least once who would win, Freddy or Jason. And frankly, Jason(No offense to the Jason fans) isn't exactly your "Worst nightmare to meet". Let's face it, I was a Jason fan for 9 YEARS. I saw 1 Freddy movie and was instantly hooked. In the Jason series, they don't look into what happened to Jason... no... they don't go through any mysterious clues... nuh-uh... it's always, "Run away from the butt ugly silent walking retard!" Let's face it, shall we.... In just about every Friday the 13th movie Jason gets pumped full of bullets and then falls down. Then, some idiot walks over to see if he's alive. PEOPLE!!!!! Well, looks like Freddy won after all. In the final deleted scene, Will is about to do the dirty with the lead chick, when he grabs her throat, grins evilly, and grows Freddy's claws, and swipes down towards her. This is supposed to happen 2 months later. Thus, I think it is safe to say Freddy won.

No lie. In the original ending it turns out Will is possessed by Freddy. As for the ending we all know, definitely dream world. There's too much fog around to be Camp Crystal Lake. If you recall, in A Nightmare On Elm Street 4: Dream Master, the dude who trains as a warrior falls asleep. And in the Dream World he is surrounded by fog. That same fog is at the ending. You can argue all you want, but the movie had a slight surprise having Freddy the Victor. Then again....
In the deleted scene: "place your bets", Freddy admits willingly that he is in the real world. But when exactly was Freddy pulled out??? He's about to do the chick in and then he is suddenly in the Warehouse. Besides, Freddy temporarily knocked Jason out, remember? Jason poped up and slams the claw(and arm) through Freddy and then passes out. Let's just say for a small moment Freddy really was killed. He returns to Hell, only to come back in Jason's dreams. However, Jason would recognize him and do him off there and then. So Freddy plays it smart. Either way, real world or dream world, Freddy won. Jason died first and since this was a Last Man Standing match, that technically makes Freddy the victor. Even if it were a two men in, one man out match, Freddy would still be the victor.

Yes, well Freddy Vs. Jason started out as nothing but a rumor. Anyway, you went to Camp Crystal Lake(Not really, but that's what I'll call it)?! :-D Perhaps that's where they made the movie, what do you think?? Ash is the main character in the evil dead trilogy.(played by Bruce Campbell) the last film was called army of darkness not evil dead 3 though. but i've been hearing a lot of rumors about bringing that character in and if you listen to the commentary on the dvd Robert Englund even mentions that he has heard this rumor.

Alright all this talk about who won the fight. The fact of the matter is that Freddy put up a hell of a fight, but Jason was the last man standing. Like the book says "This wasn't some boiler room with pipes and torrents of water, this was the real world and the little man would die!" Something like that anyway. Face the Facts everyone, Jason is the better man. Sure Freddy didn't die, but you can't kill evil. These two ultimate evils will never perish, not as long as they make money. There will be a sequel, from what i hear sometime in 2005. But we all know what'll happen...they'll fight..it'll be a good match, and Jason will come out the victor again, but the question is how??? One thing i found pretty retarded was this...in the beginning Freddy says (disguised as Mrs Voorhees) "Jason, my special special boy, do you know what your gift is? No matter what they do to you, you cannot die, YOU can NEVER die..." Then later in the movie Freddy asks Jason a very important question..."Why won't you die?!" My favorite Nightmare would have to be..... A Nightmare on Elm Street part 4 AND 2: Dream Master(4) and Freddy's Revenge(2). It's a tie. I like part four because Freddy takes out that Karate dude with the claw alone, and his kills were original. With the cockroach thing and the bed, and I like part two because Freddy possesses people constantly and the part after the bird blow sup. The little girl turns to the dad and says some thing like, "What happened to Polly?".

I just want to point out one thing. Now, i am a freddy fan, so I realize I am a bit biased.
Now, can we all agree that neither Jason, nor Freddy can die? good. That means we must go to another way to decide who won. Freddy was on the field almost 30 seconds after Jason was down. Which is more than enough for him to have a TKO against Jason. Does it matter that Jason walked out of the ring carrying Freddy's head? no. Cause Jason had already been counted out. Freddy vs jason is a kick ass film, but on who won, its got to be jason, he walked out at the end holding freddy's head, sure he winked but he was missing the rest of his body, so far as im conserned freddy is the horror king but jason won the fight.
and whats all this rubbish about them being in the dream world before the fight, jason wakes up in the van because the trank ran out, and the girl woke up because her arm was on fire, freddy was killed in the real world end of story, and jason was looking up at the girl even as he was sinking (just before she droped his weapon in). the reason that freddy lost was because he couldnt be arsed to waste any more enrgy on fighting jason, who would never die, so he let jason think he had won and then freddy could go back to his original idea of killing the children of elm strt, because other than the two who saw him get beat, every one else thought he was alive and kicking, thus giving him power.

Freddy wouldnt possess jason, its not his style, plus although jason has super strength and regeneration, he hasnt the speed or dexterity freddy uses in his kills. plus, the main aspect of freddys kills is that in the dream world he has near God like abilities, thus he is able to do incredible things to kill, i.e. use tendons to become a pupeteer. if he took jasons body he wouldnt be able to torture his victims.

Okay, I say Freddy won the fight!!! I watched the DVD over and over and found out where they entered the dream world. That dude, what was his name?? He was sliced by Jason. Then the chick came to help him out. Well now, who cares that he dies?! Noone. He was just an annoying character. We all saw him either die, or fall asleep. I say he fell asleep. Freddy entered Dream World there and then, but changed nothing. How else could he survive blows like that? So, he went in Dream World and tried to get rid of Jason, but couldn't, so what does he do? He fakes his death. It's not the first time, he faked his death in Nightmares 1, 2, 3, 4, AND 5. Possibly even 6.
I quote from the final nightmare, "I can't die. I just keep coming back. Let's see here, first, they tried BURNING me. But I'm back! Next, they tried burrying me. But I still ain't dead! Oh, but this.. this is my favorite, they even tried Holy Water. But I just won't die. It's what the Dream People promised me."
Besides, in all the other Nightmares, when Freddy was brought into the real world, he was never by his victoms. He was always somewhere else.
In Nightmare 1, he was behind the bed.
In Nightmare 6, he was in the armory.
He was brought twice, and both times he was not by his victom. However, he has faked his victoms into thinking they were in the real world before. He did it Twice in Nightmare 3.
So it's either he got into the dream world through whatshisname, OR he was never in the real world to begin with.

I KNOW HOW ABOUT THINGS THAT COULD BE IN THE SEQUEL

Okay, we have most likely all heard Michael Myers will be Freddy's allie, correct?? Jason could barely stand against Freddy let alone Freddy AND Michael. So, Jason should(Out of fairness) get an allie as well. What about... Pin Head?? Pin Head and the Centobites are supposed to go after people worthy of hell. And as we all know, Freddy and Michael have been avoiding Hell for quite some time now.
Let's look at it,
Freddy is always trying to find new victoms in order to come back. In part 6, he ran out. Once all of the Elm Street Children are gone, he has to go to Hell. So what does Freddy do?? He sends the last one to bring his daughter to Elm Street. Once done, he goes to another Town and attempts to start all over.
Michael was supposed to die and go to hHell. But instewad he found a way to avoid it(I've only seen a few of the Halloween movies, I had friends fill me in on the rest). I believe he made a deal with the Lord of the Dead. As long as his sister is alive, so shall he be. In part 8(Resurrection), he killed off hs sister. So now, technically, he is a mortal. Am I to understand that Michael can possess people who obtain his belongings(I think so... Not sure...)?? And he gave his Knife to some Michael Myers Wannabe. So he has avoided death.
Jason, well I'm not sure if you can say he AVOIDS Hell. He comes to life in order to punish the councilers of Camp Crystal Lake for killing his mum. And only a relative can stop him. So he eventually went after relatives because they always killed him beofre his Job was done. So, as far as I know, he has been to Hell more times than he cares to count. He still has 1 relative left(Part Nine, Jason Goes to Hell, the Final Friday. He never killed off his sister, she killed him.), right? So perhaps she will join the fight. Anyway, Pinhead and the rest of the Centobites will be risen once again from that box thing(By the way, I haven't seen so much as 1 Hell Raiser movie... I rented the movie Boogie Men to find out about Pinhead)... He will go after Freddy first. Somehow or another Freddy will drag Pinhead, Michael, AND Jason into dream world. Michael will realize that he has been used, just like Jason. Jason will be all too familiar with the routine, and Pinhead still wants to get Freddy. This brings us to the conclusion that it's Freddy Vs. Jason, Michael, and Pinhead. Basicly a 3 on 1 match. No. Pinhead wants Michael, too. So this brings those two against eachother. Jason will see both of them as getting in his way, and now we have Michael Vs. Jason Vs. Pinhead Vs, Freddy. Jason must go to Hell, too. So Pinhead's going after him as well. It will be a Battle Royal in the Dream World. Freddy will kick their butts. The Centobites will somehow get someone awake. Now Freddy's in the real world. He will attempt to go back into dream world, but now that Michael has noone to fight, he wakes up. We still have Jason, who will be done in by his sister, making him an unsuitable Host. However, they are all on Crystal Lake, so Jason will come back anyway. Now we have a Battle Royal at Crystal Lake. But WAIT!!! Crystal Lake as blown up! So we have a battle Royal at either Hadden Field(Michael Myers' turf) or wherever Pinhead resides.In the end, Freddy and Michael will be dragged into Hell.

Pinhead is from Hellraiser. And I like the idea of making it seem as though Freddy and Jason are dead. It would be like the actual Nightmares and Fridays. Freddy and Jason die, then Freddy somehow resurrects himself, and someone goes to Camp Crystal Lake(or it's remains) thus bringing back Jason. Besides, Freddy can't have truly died in the first one.
In Freddy's Dead, the Final Nightmare(Nightmare 6, it obviously wasn't the Final one ;-) ), the whole thing takes place ten years later. As long as their are Elm Street Children, there is a Freddy. Don't matter if they forget about him. Originally, they didn't even KNOW about him. How can you be afraid of something you don't know even exists?? So Freddy runs on more than just Fear. Anyway, Freddy and Jason fought in the PRESENT. Nightmare 6 takes place ten years later, which is the FUTURE. How can Freddy be in the Future if he's truly dead in the Present? Also, Jason. He has to live for.... 3,000 years(Jason X). He can't come back in the future if he's dead. We all know that in Jason Goes to Hell, The Final Friday. Freddy takes his remains. In the orignal script for the Final Nightmare, Freddy takes Jason's remains(Or so I've heard... I'll check.). So it is clear they are both truly alive, Since both of their latest movies(Second latest for Freddy, since they made a Seventh Nightmare) take place in the Future, which is after the fight.

some good ideas about it just keep one thing in mind in making freddy vs jason they chose to ignore all the events that took place in the new nightmare for freddy and jason goes to hell and jason x. so any events that take place in those movie will not and have no effect on anything in fvj so basically just ignore them and forget they were made.

jason x takes place in the year 2455 so it's after it and i think new nightmare takes place after it.i figure they were planning on fvsj when they made jason goes to hell because of the part were freddy take's Jason's mask.they probally wanted you to think they would meet and a couple years later you would expect fvsj but they mad you forget about then suprised you with fvsj 10 years later.and now people are really into it again.what does pinhead look like.

Okay, they ignored the events in all the other movies because there was nothing in them that would dramaticly affect the movie. Anyway, Wes Craven's New Nightmare is supposed to take place after The Final Nightmare's release. In Wes Craven's New Nightmare, Freddy is dead and gone. So Freddy comes out of the movies and tries to warp reality into his movies. Basicly, he's messing around with the lives of Heather(Nancy), Robert(Freddy), and Wes(The creator). So Heather has to go and beat Freddy herself in order to stop him from messing with her kid. They didn't give an exact date of the movie and the plot suggested it was a couple of months after the Final Nightmare.
But anyway, the ACTUAL Final Nightmare does not end in Crystal Lake. During the writing of the script, it was. But then they were forced to do the ending in 3-D, so they had to change it.
If they were to ignore all of the Fridays and Nightmares, then the fight would have no rules as to what Freddy and Jason can and cannot do.
In example, they would have ignored the fact that Jason's purpose was to avenge his mum.
However, they forgot one important thing about the Dream World.
In every single Nightmare(except The New Nightmare), you get a Dream Power. This is a special ability that you are allowed in the Dream World.
Like in Nightmare 3, The Crippled kid could walk, and he could also obtain the abilities from his favorite board game.
And Joey was a mute, yet in the Dream World he managed to shatter the mirrors with his voice.
So, what was Jason's Dream Power??
Then again, he really doesn't need much. After all, he's super strong, invincible, etc.
And to answer the Pinhead questions,
I haven't seen the Hell Raiser movies. There's 3 I think... maybe more... I rented the movie Boogeymen. It took 17 of the most notorious movie villians and did a short bio on each one. Even showed clips.
Pinhead is the guardian of Hell, and the leader of the Centobites, a gang of demons who are summoned out of Hell by some sort of box... once out, they search for a human soul worthy of a place in Hell. Pinhead was a British General for World War 1 when he found the box. He was painfully transformed and became the leader.
He has(As his name suggests) pins sticking out of his face and head. Not just a couple of pins, but about 200 or so...(He's bald, by the way). From what I understand, Pinhead cannot be hurt, and is a proffesional in the Art of Torture. The clip I saw was a man being hit be a bunch of hooks. All over his body, stretching his skin beyond recognition(mainly cause of all the blood), then, he said his last words("Jesus wept... Jesus wept... hahahahaha!!!"),and was litterally torn apart by the hooks.
Personally, I would hate to die like that.
If he could do that to one person, what could he do to Jason??

I think that would require too many rights. BUT if they did manage to pull it off, I think Chucky might have a small advantage over Jason and possibly Freddy.
Let's say Chucky DOES indeed get in the movie. What will he do to beat to unstoppable killers? The same thing he does with everyone else.
He'll lie low until one of the two is killed off. Personally, I don't think he could fool Freddy, so let's say he gets killed off.
Chucky then goes against Jason.
I even have an idea of how to get Chucky in the movie.
The last battle took place at Camp Crystal Lake. Which is a summer camp for little KIDS.
So Chucky puts his soulld in a better doll because the one he kept on using kept getting torn up.
Anyway, a kid brings Chucky to Camp Crystal Lake. And attempts to get rid of him by throwing him in the Lake and Drowning him.
While Chucky is underwater, he finds the body of Jason Voorhees. Whether it be grown up or child, it don't matter.
So Chucky converts his soul to Jason's body(That's what he does. Converts his sould to the bodies of others. So long as they are dead.) and now has Jason's super strength and all that.
Once again Freddy drags him into Dream World because he don't know that Chucky has taken over Jason's body. Afterall, Jason IS a zombie. But anyway, once in Dream World, Chucky and Jason are seperate. Freddy finds the doll body(Chucky's real body is dead, so he can't use that one), thinking Jason brought it in with him(I dunno... maybe he took it from some kid before being drugged). Chucky lies low. He sees that Freddy has more power than Jason, and decides to wait for the chance to take over Freddy. Jason and Freddy fight, since they are in Dream World, Jason is getting his butt kicked. Freddy is just about ot finish Jason off when Chucky converts his soul to Freddy's body. Freddy is now possessed. He finishes off Jason(Or so he thinks). Then Chucky begins using Freddy's Dream Power(The abilty to control the dreams of others. This includes Shape Shifting). He somehow takes Freddy's powers outside of Elm Street. All the way to wherever Ash comes from(I have never seen Evil Dead. And I think that's what movie Ash comes from). So now we have Freddy(Chucky) Vs. Ash. Jason steps in and begins to help Ash attack Freddy(He is NOT on Ash's team). Afterall, only a Voorhees can kill him. Ash and Jason get Chucky out. This frees Freddy, who is angry as hell at Chucky. So now Jason goes after Ash(Thinks he is getting in the way). We now have Freddy Vs. Jason Vs. Chucky Vs. Ash. A Battle Royal!
