| 1) Posted by: z February 7, 2004 11:57 AM A pretty solid movie except for the GOD-AWFUL LAST FIFTEEN MINUTES THAT WENT AGIANST EVERYTHING THE MOVIE HAD TALKED ABOUT FOR THE PREVIOUS HOUR AND A HALF. I know how hot and huffy everyone gets if you write "spoilers" on the net, so I'm sorry that I can't get into detail. But come on, you know the first draft of the script didn't have that ending until Hollywood got thier hot little hands on it. Ken Watanabe is reason enough to see the film, however. |

It would have been great to see some good ol' fashioned seppuku, though. |

| 5) Posted by: Dave Seipp May 16, 2004 6:44 PM I enjoyed the film, well worth watching. I was quite pleased that they kept out the hollywood love moment which seems to feature in alot of films. D |
| 6) Posted by: fonboard July 7, 2004 9:20 PM This movie beat the crap outta LOTR PT III. When it comes down to realistic depictions of the themes of loyalty, friendship, and moral conviction, this movie trumps any movie that shows a couple of fantasy characters sitting on a low rock above the bone vaporizing and posionous fumes of an erupting volcano. |
