1) Posted by: Kola July 5, 2005 10:19 AM Your review is spot on. Awesome performances from all three of my favourite actors - Liam Neeson, Gary Oldman and Christian Bale. The one thing I would like to see is rather than focus on the known batman villans it would be good if any sequels used some of the more darker villans such as the reaper
2) Posted by: PhilB July 25, 2005 7:11 PM I thought it was a really excellent movie also. And though I couldn't say it was the best movie of the year, it was done so well it was a welcome relief after some of the previous garbage put out there under the Batman title. I thought the acting was good, Cilia Murphy as the Scarecrew, Christian Bale as Batman, and almost all of the other performances. I like the way they are starting from the beginning, even with the rise of Lt. Gordon from the ranks. I hope they keep the franchise on this level. I have heard that do to the Tom Cruise influence Katie Holmes is not going to be in the sequel. I don't know if there is any truth to this, but if there is, it can only help it get better.

4) Posted by: Trond Ulseth August 14, 2005 6:29 AM I agree that this was a great movie, and miles above the garbage Batman movies of the past. I only got one complaint, and that is the battle scenes. Most of them were filmed so close up that it was hard to figure out what was really going on.
5) Posted by: Mike Morrell August 31, 2005 12:42 PM Right on. I thought it was a superb adaptation. I think for me though, the "best movie of the year" handle will have to hold out 'till I see this fall's "V For Vendetta," based on the Alan Moore comic. "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" was a bomb, but "From Hell" was pretty good.
6) Posted by: Jens Peter October 22, 2005 9:00 AM Same here..loved the new style and the pains and experiences that he has to go through in order to find his final role as Batman...forget the nineties and their comic-like nonsense..five stars from here***** Jens Peter
