On May 30, 2004, Umar Baziyani was captured in Baghdad. He was a top lieutenant of of Abu Musab al Zarqawi and is believed to responsible for the death and injury of numerous Iraqis.
Umar's brother was also captured in December of 2004.
Significance

President George W Bush said of Umar that he was "a key lieutenant of this killer named Zarqawi who's ordering the suiciders inside of Iraq." The President also said that Umar was an associate of Al Queda living in Baghdad before the US invasion in 2003.
