Patton's Letter to Spaatz on November 19, 1944
A letter from General Patton to General Spaatz written on November 19, 1944 describes what Patton saw in Verny after some heavy bombing raids.
Discuss.

I wonder how many more letters of this type(not just from Patton) are buried in archives somewhere. The date discrepencies also highlight the problems administrative, archive and clerical areas operated under. And I'm sure journal and diary entries suffered similar problems, especially if the writer was compiling several days after.
Good post.
Regards Bob.
