Raiders...the original still stands out to me as the best. Temple was good but lost some of the charm of the first. I liked the opening scene of The Last Crusade showing Jones as a young man, his roots, and where some of his characteristics came from. And it had Sean Connery as the father; the humor in the relationship was good. It just over all didn't have the adventure for me and originality of the first. They were all decent films though.

I love Raiders, but I mean...come on, James Bond + Indiana Jones ftw.

Temple of Doom is the absolute best Indianna Jones films.

First of all, it is the only movie that takes Indy out of his element. In Raiders and Crusade, Indy is doing the same ol' same ol' by fighting Nazis. He is also seeking out adventure, thus making him more prepared. In Temple of Doom, Indy is thrown into a situation.

Second, Indy is not out trying to gain some glory, treasure, or eternal life. The first and second movies show us the selfish Indy out on discovery and banging some chick. In contrast, Indy sets out to save a starving village and finds himself in a hero / must-survive situation.

Third, I've heard many people bitch about the annoying girl in Temple of Doom, but you'll notice that Indy does not taint himself by sleeping with her.

Fourth, best climax of all time. When absolutely all hope is lost, Indy shows us the solution - go kamikaze. He cuts the rope on a swinging bridge hundreds of feet above nasty alligators with sharp, pointy teeth. This is a man with balls.

In conclusion, Temple of Doom is the best of the Indy films. So say "DOCTOR JONES! DOCTOR JONES!" and realize that the other two movies are cute, but do not show Indy at his best.

The opening sequence of Raiders is better than the second 2 movies put together.

If that stupid little annoying kid wasn't in the movie, it might have been decent.

I just hate annoying little ankle biters. It's why I couldn't stand Phantom Menance.

Are you referring to Jar Jar or Skywalker?
