Have you seen Scarface?

Scott Manning
December 7, 2004

alpacino_scareface2.jpgJust when I thought life couldn't get any worse in the geek world, I made the mistake of asking one of my friends if he'd seen one of the greatest Pacino films ever.

Scott: Are you an Al Pacino fan?

Friend: Of course. Who isn't.

Scott: *laugh* No doubt. Have you seen Scarface?

Friend: Scarface? No, I don't think so.

Scott: What!?!

Friend: Sorry.

Scott: Man, do yourself a favor. Go rent the movie and thank me in 3 hours.

Friend: *laugh* Maybe this weekend.

Scott: How could you not have seen Scarface?

Friend: Sorry, man. When you have a three-year-old kid, you don't get out to see movies much.

Scott: I would buy that excuse, if the movie didn't come out in 19-f***ing-83!

Friend: Oh. Well, I'm more of a Sci-fi geek.

Scott: Bah! I'll bet own all the episodes of Robotech on DVD.

Friend: Of course. Don't you?

Scott: Yeah.
