While having all my important numbers plugged into my cell is convenient, it's hell when I don't have my cell with me.

For example, my wife calls me while at work right before I need to go into a meeting. I tell her I'll call her back.

Upon arriving back to my desk, I go to call her and realize that I still do no have her cell number memorized. Why should I? It's on my own cell which is not with me.

This leads to several conversations with friends who just might have her cell number:

Scott says: yo

Scott says: Do you have Dawn's cell?

Steve says: not on me

Scott says: Not in your cell?

Scott says: Come on, fag

Scott says: You know you have it

Steve says: i don't have my cell...

Scott says: agq308tr;bqjnt0

Steve says: lol

I ended up calling my mom in Arizona for the number.

No worries, happens to me all the time. Funny thing is, when I call my relatives/friends to get the # in question, they refer to THEIR cell phones to give me the # I need.
