My thoughts are with you. I was born in Dallas and will always be a Cowboys fanatic even though I now live in San Francisco. Although 49er fans have a pretty heavy rivalry with us, I wouldn't call ut pure hatred. Those Eagle's fans seem really bitter :)

And now from an ex-Philly guy in Saints country (and formerly in both Fins and Bucs country) I know what's going on. Philly folk are vicious. After all, these are the fans who threw batteries on the Boys once. And let's not forget that jail at the Linc? No wonder I left. Sure, I'm still a Birds fan. In fact, it's great to have Sirius to listen to the WYSP Eaglecasts just as you can listen to the Silverstar network or whatever it's called now. Of course, being in New Orleans means you hear enough Saints talk. Mostly about whether or not they'll even stay in town if they can't strike a deal with the state. But I get compassion here because the Saints as usual, suck and the Falcons are their real rival. You know, The Falcons? The team the Eagles beat to get to lose to the Pats in the Super Bowl.

At least we don't have TO in NO. Yet.....

I think you're thinking like a survivor of abuse. You seek reason in what really has none. Philly doesn't hate Dallas because Dallas beats us more (not disputing that fact) but Philly hates Dallas because Philly (sportwise) is a big seething ball of rage. We hate the NY Giants too. Hell, we'll boo Santa Claus. We cheer broken necks. There's just a mean streak to Philly Sports. I won't posit why. It just is.

The fact is, our dislike for Dallas came way before the 90s. That shows how little knowledge you (typical Cowboys fan) have. The rivalry, at least from our point of view, has been going on since the 70s. That's right. When your pompous coach, Tom Landry would constantly run up the score on our football squad. The Dallas players would purposefully make a joke of our team and try to injure our players.

Dallas was on top then, no doubt. Everyone was Dallas' rival. The anger would only grow because 1 out of every 5 Dallas fans are helmet hoppers. They jumped on the bandwagon when the team was winning. Suddenly they tell you that they originally liked the Cowboys when they were a kid because of the "star". If you don't think you need a beating after saying something like that, then go back to watching American Idol on DVD and live with being a total pansy.

The real problem is that you take our anger towards your stupid little team and mix it with the ridiculous reasons you people come up with for being a Cowboy's fan and what do you expect?

You deserve the abuse you get. Hopefully, I will see you at the game sometime, so I can give you my Philadelphia Eagle salute. Yep. It's a bird.

From the land of Thomas Wade Landry, I grew up in the Republic of Texas and even when I served over 9 years in the military, I never forgot that I am a Texan. The Cowboys are what the eagles are not, a team with tradition in its short span in the NFL. The eagles have been around a long time before Dallas even had running water, but like all visionaries, the gentlemen who engineered (Tom Landry was an engineer by the way) designed a team that would forever be a network of technological terrors tearing up teams one by one. Keep holding the torch for us in the land of Philly! It was always hilarious getting on the Cowboys website and chatting with these Eagles fans who had beaten us in a regular season game. Their knowledge of football(or lack therof)consisted of the game they had just played. When I would start talking of the likes of Ron Jaworski and Harold Carmichael (two guys who I respect, unlike Mr. T.O.) they were oblivious. Well, Philly fans, you guys have a string of championship CHOKES, and guess what? If Parcells gets the 3-4 to work this season, you won't have a chance to do it again. I'll see you on the website this year when you lose to the Cowboys! (Oh, that's right, I won't, because we all know the fans in Philly have no backbone.)

The Cowboys are a fluke, any success they have this season is a fluke, and any talk about a good season for the Cowboys turns out to be a big joke.

Sounds to me like "Bob", "Yours Truly", and "Dave" are a little hurt. I guess every Eagles fan should be hurt after watching their team lose so badly to a team they were "guaranteed" to beat.

As for "fluke", let's look at the stats of today's game:
- The score was 33-10.
- The Cowboys had 456 yards to the Eagles' 129.
- Cowboys had possession of the ball for over 40 minutes.
- The Eagles never threw/caught a touchdown.
- Cowboys didn't even punt until the fourth quarter.

The Redskins starting off this season with three wins was a fluke. Today's game wasn't a "fluke"; it was a Texas ass-whoopin.

Here we go again. This is when the gay little eagles fans come out the bedroom with their ron jaworski jerseys and nothing else on. Quit your blabbering you weak ass wimps. Predictablity is the name of the game if you're a Philadelphia Eagle these days. On the field, the team was so predictable, the Cowboys didn't even break a sweat. After the game, the fans are so predictable they either hide( see John Franco post August 13), or they make moronic comments that show no football knowledge whatsoever. And when their choking team doesn't make the playoffs, "Bob", "Yours Truly", and "Dave", are so predictable, they'll probably spend the rest of the offseason meeting each Sunday evening, lighting a candle, and having circle jerks to their McNabb and T.O. posters.

As a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan, I have to say that Philadelphia is not only a dumpy, nasty city, but the Eagles Suck!!! there is nothing better than watching the Eagles fans here in Fort Lauderdale go nuts as their team loses. I am actually seeing a woman from Philadelphia and all I hear is that Da Eagles are the greatest. The reality I have realized is that Eagle fans are not overly intelligent, and to top it off are downright violent.

I have always stated that our Cowboys will win another Superbowl, long before the DA Eagles ever see one.

You've only been to two Super Bowl in your whole pathetic history, and LOST them both; one to a freaking wild card team that you beat earlier that year (Oakland) and please don't tell me you ALMOST beat NEw England because you didn't. They DOMINATED the Eagles the whole second half and that little cheezy "by the way touchdown" with a minute left meant nothing; the game was already over.
